Fighting for Equality and basic human right
“Don’t I have a right to education” lamented Gul Saba as she was turned back from her previous school due to nonpayment of fees. Her father was a drug addict and mother weak and frail, they were unable to run a stable household. Her plea fell on her grandmother’s ear, who took her hands in her wrinkled ones and brought her and her siblings to Baithak School Network.
Her grandmother had heard that Baithak School doesn’t compromise on quality and provides free education to children in destitute conditions.
Gul Saba’s is like her name ‘a breath of fresh air’ in this decaying society. With her love for learning and sweet mannerisms she has become every teacher’s favorite student. Her aim is to be a teacher and serve and save children like herself and bring them to light of education.
